Investment Climate Assessment was carried out on 54 indicators grouped into four areas: the availability of infrastructure, availability of resources, the effectiveness of institutions for business and regulatory environment.

Kuban takes seventh place ranking; however, it is the best region for a number of indicators.

So, the Krasnodar region was the third in a group of leaders in terms of "regulatory environment". First of all, the efficiency and effectiveness of business registration and ownership and building licensing were taken into account.

The region was highly estimated by the term "infrastructure and resources". This indicator shows the availability of business infrastructure in the region, and, importantly, its quality. Land, labor and financial resources were considered as well.
