The delegation of Krasnodar region held more than 20 business meetings within XX Saint-Petersburg international economic forum
In the course of negotiations the Kuban delegation under the direction of Governor Veniamin Kondratyev presented an investment potential of the region. The projects in the area of agro-industrial complex, informational and bio-technologies, trade and establishment of logistics centers were under discussion.
In particular, Veniamin Kondratyev held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AFC "System" Vladimir Evtushenkov.In the course of conversation the parties discussed the development prospects of the projects which the Russian financial & industrial group has been implementing across the territory of Krasnodar region. The Governor of the region emphasized the importance of growth of agricultural enterprises developed by the group. They specialize on gardening and dairy husbandry are currently of priority significance in Kuban in the area of agro-industrial complex, noted the head of the region.
He also pointed out the relevance of the project of corporation on establishment of a logistics center in Sochi. More efficient automatic management of passenger and freight traffic can be implemented in the course of its implementation in the Olympic capital. This will enable to reduce the traffic intensity and to lessen the traffic burden in the resort area.
Another topic of the conversation was the development of a mobile communications network on the territory of the region.
Its highly critical for us that the mobile coverage area become as extensive as possible in the region so that even in the most remote areas of Kuban we could provide affordable and quality mobile communication. Nowadays we cant do without it; this is a necessary prerequisite for normal life of our residents, - emphasized the Governor.
In addition, the head of the region noted that the region is keen on corporation projects on energy audit and adoption of energy-saving solutions.
Within the framework of XX International Economic Forum in Saint-Petersburg the Vice-Governor of the region Sergey Altukhov held a meeting with the head of the Representative office "METRO GROUP" in Russia, Vice-President on corporate policy Alexey Grigoriev.
In the course of the meeting the parties discussed, in particular, the prospects of cooperation on implementation of a synergetic project aimed at supporting SME in the areas of agricultural production, food industry and retail trade in Krasnodar region as well as implementation of new investment projects "METRO" in the region.
The representatives of the delegation of Krasnodar region also conducted a set of meetings with the prospective residents of the industrial parks to be established in Kuban in the near term.
