Veniamin Kondratiev: the Krasnodar Territory enterprises show presence at the largest wine exhibition in China

The head of the region told journalists about it.

«Kuban is rightly considered the leading wine-growing region of Russia.  Our wines are known and appreciated in the country and abroad for their unique taste and quality. Today, the products of our winemakers conquer the developed, fast-growing and highly competitive market of China and, in general, the countries of East Asia. I am sure that guests of the exhibition will love our wines, and participation in such an iconic event is another step in the development of cooperation with China,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.

The exhibition ProWine China 2023 is held from November 8 to 10 in Shanghai. The united booth of the South of Russia is about 80 square meters. Six enterprises of the region showcase their products: Château de Talu, Rocky Coast, Kuban Wine and Cognac Factory, Divnomorye, Mistral Vine, Shumrinka.

ProWine China is the most important specialized wine and spirits exhibition in China. Every year, it gathers producers, distributors and equipment suppliers from 40 countries. The exhibition is attended by about 15 thousand industry professionals.

«Over the past five years, we have seen a steady increase in exports of Kuban products to China. China is the second among the largest contracting countries for exports from the Krasnodar Territory. And it is the first among countries that buy food products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from us. Since the beginning of 2023, the region’s enterprises have already participated in eight major international exhibitions. About 20 export contracts have been signed with entrepreneurs from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Mongolia,» said the Vice-Governor Alexander Ruppel.
